Mobile Grooming

(available in the Hamptons, NY, only)

It's Simple

Mobile dog grooming is the optimal choice for pet comfort which is always my number one priority. With mobile grooming, your dog gets a 1:1 session with me in my van. No other clients, no cages, no distractions.

Before I started my business, I always groomed my own dogs at home in a designated area. I found that having them in a comfortable environment without distractions helped make the session go quicker with less anxiety for the dog and produced a better result.

How It Works

We will have a quick chat over the phone or text to go over your dog's needs and to set an appointment. Sharing a photo or two always helps set pricing and time expectations.

I'll come to your house, meet you and your dog, and introduce them to the mobile salon. Some dogs have hesitation but once inside, the quiet environment typically calms them quickly.

A full groom can take from 45 minutes to 2+ hours depending on a wide variety of factors but primarily on the size of your dog, the length of their coat, and what you want done.

Everything is done in the van; I have hot water, dryers, multiple groom stations, and every tool you could imagine. Don't hesitate to ask for a quick tour to see how things work!

Results Matter

It's a sad truth in this industry that some dogs suffer from neglect or abuse by groomers. I've been able to turn several dogs around who were deemed ungroomable due to mistreatment by their groomer. I never use force, exert anger, or tie up dogs to the point of them being unable to move.

One client travels over three hours to visit me for a grooming after their dog was badly hurt at the groomer and no one else can touch her.

Pricing

Most of my competition charges astronomical rates for dog grooming. While this is considered a luxury or convenient service, I don't believe in price gauging. An accurate price quote can be given after our initial conversation. The average small groom is just over $100. A large dog with long hair (think Bernese Mountain Dog) can go up to $200. Sales tax applies to all services and extras. I currently take cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Credit Card processing coming soon.
